hi everyonei am new to welding and because i like to build projects like go karts and stuff i reallu need to know how to weld. so far i have onli been bolting my stuff together. i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to weld and what would be the perfect machine to buy so that i can practice on after attending welding courses that i am still looking for.i live in victoria, melbourne. if anyone lives here , could you please email me at [email protected] if you know where i might be able tl learn proper welding techniquesthanx guysdharvin(newbie)
Reply:Tafe course is the way to go. COS course or something like that, they even offer night courses too. As far as welding machines go WIA make pretty good little 130 amp copper wound machines that run up to 3.2mm electrodes (wich woul be suitable for go karts) for about $360.00 |
