I would like info from anyone who has either used or owns/owned the Clarke brand 130EN mig machine.  What did you like or dislike about the machine.  Did you have any problems with it and what were they and how were they corrected?  Did you have trouble getting replacement parts or consumables such as contact tips, nozzles, etc.  Considering purchasing one as a grab and go machine and backup to machines I have now.  Thanks!!!A few of my toys !LinuxMintManjaroMiller Roughneck 2E Lincoln WeldPak 100HTP MTS 160 Chicago Electric 80amp Inverter   Victor O/A
Reply:I own one. I used it to build a go kart.It works best on a 20A circuit. No problems so far.
Reply:i had one for a while, and i didnt wanna order the tips offline, so i bought a pack of .35 tips at homedepot made by lincoln, and they worked in the clarke, i also used them in my craftsman mig too, also the lincoln nozzle fits on the clarke too,

Reply:i had the 180 220 volt... it was an over all good welder, did everything i wanted it to do, and never had a problem.. welds up to like 1/4 in a single pass. i welded a few go carts with it, a shop table, some body work, a fence railing, its deffinetly worth the money
Reply:The Clarke 130en and the Craftsman 196.205690 are the same model. The technical support # is Clarke, support is given by Clarke.http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...ab=spe#tablink
Reply:Just a note to let those who are interested in the Clarke 130EN that it is a good buy.  Got mine three days ago and am pleased with it!  Does what it is designed to do, equals the comparable units in same class from Miller, Hobart, and Lincoln.  Yes, I have used them from all three and own a unit from Lincoln.  For the price, why spend more for a name?  Buy the way, the Clarke uses Tweco type gun, gas diffuer, contact tips, and nozzles interchange with Lincoln.  Has a 10yr warranty on transformer and rectifier and 2yrs on everything else.  Are you listening Miller, Hobart, Lincoln???A few of my toys !LinuxMintManjaroMiller Roughneck 2E Lincoln WeldPak 100HTP MTS 160 Chicago Electric 80amp Inverter   Victor O/A
