I am relatively new to welding. I currently weld with a Mig (No Flux Core) and plasma cut. what is everyone doing to protect their lungs??? Is a P 100 particulate mask ok? What about the ozone? Thanks,Rott
Reply:Use the search for detailed info. I currently wear a 3M 7500 series half-mask respirator with 3M 2091 pancake filters. MUCH better than my previous respirator, which was nothing. As a side note, I first learned about them from this site. Now I don't blow a ton of black stuff out of my nose every night. Instead, it's just a trace. |
