So im kind of a newb in the welding world.. I used to do alot of wire feed welding about 10 years ago and havnt done it since.. So im wanting to get a new to me wire feed or a stick welder for the ocasional garage project or broken tractor part..So a guy that I have gone wheeling with on ocasion has 2 powcon 300sm welders..One of them has a wire feed attachment with all the cables and something called a mig pulser (I dont have a clue what this is). The other is set up for stick with both cables..He wants to sell them but cant seam to come up with a price.. I really have no idea what they are worth either.. I would like to make him an offer but dont want to screw myself and I want to be fair.. Any suggestions what i should offer him.. I have seen both of them work with the exception of the pulser thing..Thanks in advance
