Recycled heavy chain

Had this old 3/4" chain laying around so thought I'd find a good use for it. Word of advice: don't wrap the chain around a rusty old pipe. Reply:mla2ofus, Nice one!I built a mail box post out of heavy chain. For the base I used a chunk of crawler track chain and pads, off of a large dozer. It's anchored simply by weight.I figured that since one of my vehicles was as likely to hit it as anyone's, it should be somewhat forgiving. Last edited by denrep; 06-03-2008 at 10:34 AM.

Reply:I could'nt help notice what appears to be two plant pots in the background.  Did you make these?  If you did can you give details? My wife it always looking for planters that are easy to maintain.
