I had my eye out for an older tig machine to use in my garage for just personal use and finally last monday found one. Its an older Lincoln Idealarc 250/250 made in 1988, but she works and came with a bunch of stuff. I think I scored big time since all of this was only $800. Did I mention it came with a Dynaflux R1000 watercooler thats good up to 750amps. A sweet brand new wp20 torch. And really long ground leads... Took me two days to clean her up....rewire and add a 240V line to my basement. (pays to study EE ) One thing that caught me off gaurd was the dead mouse that I found inside....and its nest with the poops. No odors...since it looked like it was dead for a while. I was really impressed how well this machine welds....Better arc than the $8k Snap_on 250wc at the Shop. Oh...I built a welding table already with it. pics:

Reply:That cooler looks nearly identical to my Weldtec aside from the pump. The whole case, plastic jar, even right down to the hex/flathead screws. Were these two companies ever merged?
