I just got a new Linccoln arc 225 stick welder. So I ran 220 to the garage. When I test the outlet I get 110 from each hot. This means I have 220 right? If so then why is it when I plug in the welder and turn it on nothing happens?Tried to strike an arc and nothing. There is no noise as I would have expected a low humm. NOTHING?Could there be something wrong with a brand new welder? Or is there something I am missing? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Reply:Thank you for the extremely quick reply. You were correct I just used the wrong double breaker. After getting the correct breaker it only took approx 2 min to fix the issue. The welder works great now.Again THANK YOU!
