Does anyone know of plans to build a tube bender like the one on Shop Outfitters, I can build from pictures but spacing of holes etc would be trial and error.ThanksTerry

Reply:I bought mine off ebay but if you want to to make your own I can give you all the hole sizes and spacing. Here is a post with some measurements.Link to Bender
Reply:Thanks very much for the link to measurements, that gives me something to work from.Terry
Reply:I built one of these guys http://www.gottrikes.com/Tube_Bender.htmVery nice plans and affordable too. Air over hydro works well.
Reply:I'm building the http://www.gottrikes.com/Tube_Bender.htm and should have it done soon. The plans are great any question you have Frank will e-mail you back in a few hours. Build the Plan "B" option.reber
Reply:Thanks for the replies, I did purchase the plans from Frank, it is a really nice unit, however the tubing alone would cost me approx $200.00 and then the dies, ram etc. puts it a little high for hobby work.Terry
Reply:whatever you build it out of, is going to cost money. Go with Franks design and you know it's going to work, go with measurements someone has given you and you may well end up using more material and time fixing.I bought the plans from frank at Gotikes as I needed the dims, the style I built is similar to a Protools, and breakdowns for storage.
