I have seen some aluminum art projects using pipe with welds going around it making it look like bamboo. Has anyone done this? Any tips or tricks?I saw a table done this way. Very nice patio art.

Reply:That was very cool and informative. The stuff I saw would have been much less work, but not as realistic looking. They had maybe dented the aluminum, then run a weld bead around it. Lots of ideas for applications come to mind.
