This is a pick of a cnc plasma custom aluminum emblem for a chevy S 10 rockcrawler truck. It turned out ok, but I like the desighn. weld it like you own it
Reply:It's amazing how clean a plasma cutter is. I'll never own one because I don't do thin stuff.I saw a CNC plasma cutting table set up by Gadget. That would be the ultimate way to make a precise cut. Freehand is probably a real b****, at least it would be for me."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Farmersamm,Thin stuff? My Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101 will give a "Genuine" cut at 1-1/2 inches thick. It will sever 1-3/4 inch thick material. If you are using thicker material, you should be posting up some awesome pics for us!! Reply:Now, while I'm still thinkin' of it. I ain't quite sure what seperates thick from thin. Usually my test is whether I damn near get a hernia carryin' a 6' length of it. I always figured if I could cut it with a torch, why give away another coupla hundred dollars to do it "better". Most I ever work with is around 3/4 - 1 flat, and 2" round.
