I am new to the tig scene ,but am wanting to do some roll cages and also other types of metals. Is the 250dx a good choice?
Reply:I don't see any problem with it. a Thermal TA-185 would do the trick for less $. A Dynasty 200 DX would be another option but around the same $ as the synch. A Synch 200 should also work nicely. If you have a used synch 250 lined up at a reasonable price go for it!DennisThermal Arc 185-TSWMillermatic Challenger 172VictorO/AAtlas Craftsman 12 by 24 LatheEsab PCM-875Wholesalem Tool Mill-Drill
Reply:I have a 250dx TigRunner package as well as an older Syncrowave 300.I mainly do chassis fabrication but also do production welding on mild steel, aluminum, and tool steel for rescue equipment.I LOVE my 250 (and the 300 ). It works great for everything I've needed to do in my shop.http://all-a-cart.comWelding Cart Kits and accessories |
