Cobbled this together over the last several days to occupy my idle moments. The blade is 3" long and the handle is 4 1/4" long. The guard is 1/4" brass and brazed to the blade. The sheath came out not looking very good as it didn't take dye evenly.I signed it so I can tell it's mine. I know the picture is fuzzy but after about a dozen attempts to get a good shot of this I got disgusted and quit.Last edited by Oldtimer; 10-22-2008 at 05:41 PM.

Reply:Hello Oldtimer, Really like the look of the knife,I'm an hobby archer back in the U.K. and just recently had to remove my knife from my shooting belt because the blade was a little too long at 5", yours looks great nice strong blade, like the sheath too, sort of antique worn in look.Great skill, i'm envious!Regards Gordon.
Reply:Another great knife.I think the sheath looks fine. The beauty of natural materials is the difference in the way they behave. I like the look of the way the dye absorbed with some variances. You darn sure know it's not a piece of plastic."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/ |
