A set of steps we built. A set of step ladders,  Galvanized steel.  They started as a set of wall mounted ladders.  But, with all the welding restriction  (they go on a building with a rubber roof) and there were sever obstacle to dodge), I decided to build step ladders.  Essentially the tread are formed by two ladders put together.  The job hung around for several months before I decided to build step ladders.  They are waiting to be lifted.  The clients lift is broken.A canopy for an aircraft simulator.  It covers their a/c unit.  I built 5 on those.  It is aluminum 0.125"x2"x2".  Scariest job I ever had to install.  It is hinge and hoisted manual/brute strength into place.   I did this for an awning company who had a contract with Ft. Reply:Hand rail.  Barter.  This client was a cabinet maker.  My wife wanted cabinets, his wanted this rail she'd seen in on a website.  He is going to put a wood cap and her mother is going to paint it.

Reply:That all looks really good tapwelder. I was looking at the fancy balustrdae and trying to see if the patterns represented anything and had a thought. I wonder if anyone has ever done a stairway where the balustrade infills were representative of the shapes of the countries of the world? Might be an idea for some time in the future.I was surprised that at a military base that you have had to heave things into position with brute force. Somehow you expect those facilities to have all the good gear for jobs like that. Still I guess it may be how they do a lot of those things themselves. Reply:Thanks guys.The canopies were done at Ft. Campbell.  The only representive for the Ft. Campbell was a civilian engineer who was going to write the manual for the canopies.  I think it was intended to be erected manually and he wanted a practical idea.  They were being shipped to Iraq.        The photo is of the prototype.  I later had to shorten the legs 1.5 feet.  The next 4 were picked up in August and I haven't heard anything else.The only thing the balusters represent is a sore back.  They are supposed to be cloud like.
