duck blind

I want to build a little 2-3 man duck blind and i need some help because i dont have any plans drawn or any clue of what i want it to look like so i was woundering if anyone could help me out with some sketches and/or ideas.Thanks.
Reply:Sorry that I don't have any sketches but a few buddies when I was growing up took and old pick-up bed trailer and turned it into a blind.  They painted the bed and made a frame that fit into the stake pockets so you could remove it.  Matthew

Reply:Give me a day or so.  I regularly build ten or so a year for a friends commercial hunting operation.  I have some pics, but I'll have to dig them up.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:In Arkansas, (Duck Capitol of the World ) a couple of things are used in the rice fields with pretty good success.  First, they use a 16' utility trailer and weld up stanchions on the sides, then brush with rice straw and whatever they can find to make it look natural.  The upside to this is; it can readily be moved with a tractor if it is placed in the wrong spot, or they want to move it to another rice field.  Secondly, they weld up a frame of whatever dimension they are trying to accomodate...4x8 for 3 hunters, 4x12 for 4 hunters etc.  It is basicly a frame of  4 walls constructed from 1" square tube with a galvanized mesh similar to reinforcing wire used for concrete.  The rice straw is then woven into the mesh creating the blind.  One other and important part is that a frame is also constructed to attach a 2x10 or 2x12 in one wall for a seat.Understand that the rice fields are anywhere from ankle to knee deep.  If using a trailer, the water would only come to just underneath the floor of the trailer, keeping the hunters dry.
