CNN is running a piece this evening on a Company called Patriotic Welding.  The head guy at the company fabricated a part for the Hummer that makes it safer to use.  It's being added to all hummers in the Middle East.  I didn't catch it all but it sounded pretty cool.  It hasn't made it to their website yet so you'll have to watch CNN

Reply:That's some really good, much needed, stuff.I saw this thing on the news that talked about the increased maintenance on the vehicles due to all the extra weight of the stuff they're havin' to hang on 'em to make it safe.  The suspensions aren't holding up too well from what I understand.Cheaper to replace a suspension than a life."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:The stuff Arcadia shows on their website was considered obsolete when I was in Iraq. That was well over a year ago. This website has too many profanity filters for me to suitably express my opinion regarding the quality of their humvee doors.-Matt------------------------------------------
