Reply:Here is a headache rack and side rails as well as a rack for the back that comes off when you don't need it. Kinda hard to read but the headache racks says "FRANCO" on it. Attached Images

Reply:Nice work. The headache rack looks a little delicate for what I use one for but I'm sure it's what "Franco" wanted.

Reply:The letters are fabricated. They are 1" wide by 1/4" thick flat stock, cut and welded into shape. This rack is anything but delicate. The outside is 1/2" bar and the insides are twisted 1/2" solid bar. The arch is 1/4" flat bar. I have beat the he!! out of the one I made for my truck and it looks like new.Now it is not the same as what I would make for a F350 work truck that carries a lot of thick wall pipe or something but this went on an F150 and that truck has limits of its own so the rack is more than stout enough. To carry a ladder or some Home Depot stuff it is more than adequate. To protect your back glass which is what it is really for, it does that job quite well also.

Reply:Nice looking job Bob. It's got style as well as function, nothing looks worse than a plain ole square headache rack and set or rails, I like very much.....Mike

Reply:There's welding work in them thar nurseries. I built some carts for nurseries this summer myself. This is a cart/trailer for a lawn tractor to move those trees in the really big pots. It has a piece of flat tapering off the back of the trailer so they can scoop up the pot and put it on the lawn tractor to move them around. And the next one is a dolly that is made with the handle further back and a like piece of plate on the front so they can scoop up big pots of plants and haul them around. They are painted John Deere green. Attached Images

Reply:Nice work. Why do you call The Head board on a bed, a "Headache rack" or I'm I stating the obvious. |
