Reply:Let me start with a few very basic questions. The power wave is a multi-process welder. Are you using it for wire feed (MIG) or stick welding? (I assume that you are not using it for TIG, although that is possible). What are you welding? How thick? Steel?A photo would help, both of what you are welding and the machine and settings. What are the machine settings? Voltage, current, wire feed?If you are using wire feed, what feeder are you using, and what are the settings? What polarity are you using? What size wire or stick are you using? What alloy or type?If you are using gas, what gas are you using? You will need to give us a lot more information before we can help you.If you don't understand any of the questions, we can probably walk you through them.RichardSculptures in copper and other metalshttp://www.fergusonsculpture.comSyncrowave 200 Millermatic 211Readywelder spoolgunHypertherm 600 plasma cutterThermal Arc GMS300 Victor OA torchHomemade Blacksmith propane forge |
