A customer wanted to mount his generator on top of his hitch, under his camper. So I got all the measurements I needed and made it. It pins though the top of the drop hitch. I had to use smaller square tube with shims to get the right fit. I also put a latch so he can lock it. He rino coated it and plans on insulating it with dynomat. Reply:I never thought about the intake. I wouldnt imagine that it would be an issue since I cut so many holes in the box. If anything, that would aid in the cooling since it's drafting from all around the unit.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom. |
