Been lurking here for some time and now it is time to start making a conribution. Here is a vice stand that i made recently. It has a 15mm base, 12mm top with 100x100x6mm post. TIG welded (practice).Root - 195amps DCEN, 2.4 Lanth. 100%arg.Cover - 180amps DCEN Attached Images
Reply:Hey Welcome Larry, those are some nice looking welds. I can't quite figure out the vice though, do you have another angle of it?
Reply:Thanks for the welcome. Its a 150mm offset vice made by Record. New perchace for me as i am sick of ttrying to hold thing with my feet/hands and getting burned or cut. Attached Images
Reply:I see the reason for the offset. That's pretty neat. The welds look a DARN(so it won't be confused) sight better than what I accomplished today."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
