profax spool gun

I am looking at a profax spool gun and would like your opinion on them.  I have just recently started using a profax whip due to it being on the welder I just purchased.  It is new and I will give it a run for it's life.  I am told the profax whips are built like tanks; we will see.My other option for a spool gun is to hold out and buy an ESAB ST-23A.What are your experiences with profax?  Good/Bad?  The LWS around the corner is loaded to the gills with Profax consumables.  I guess I am hoping responses will be good due to convienence. But, that doesn't matter much, I buy in bulk and stock up and will order off the internet.

Reply:I used one for a couple of years at a job a while back.It worked well, & was pretty tough.It's probably what I'll end up buying eventually myself.Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
