Here's a project I did today. It was for a local commercial pressure washer that wanted to build another hot water unit. I first built it to his specs, but it turned out to be too tall. He said there was one certain parking garage that he know it wouldn't fit under, so we cut off the bottom part that was under the engines. That coil (the shinny stainless thing on top) weighs about 250 lbs!. We got it loaded up, then we both sat on top of it, and we weigh 220 lbs each! So I guess I built it strong enough. Reply:Do those top tanks have liquid in them when the pressure washer isn't in use, and being transported??"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:No. It's just a coil that a diesel fired burned heats up, then the pressure washers pushes water through the coil to blow hot water.
Reply:Only half of the "tank" is coil, the rest is empty for the burner.
Reply:Cool, I had a thought for a minute that it held quite a few gallons of liquid. Worried about whether the tubing would take the sloshing.Sorry man"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Not at all, good thinking. We'll see if it hold up after a few days of him dragging that trailer all over town! I also did some other things to his trailer: A rack for the hose reels, storage for the surface cleaners, in a few days - new fenders.
Reply:My fault, I see tanks and I think liquid"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/ |
