I have been a member for a short while and have learned more about welding than in a long time.  I just wanted to say thanks to everyone.This tig stuff is a blast.  I have a new TA 185 and love it.  I have been thinking about a bigger machine, but don't know if I have any real use for it.  I am ordering a foot pedal for my Ranger 250.  Water cooled torch is also in the near future.  I did some 1/4" T (fillet) today and they looked beautiful.  Pics posted later.  I have tigged for years now and then, but now that I am a meber here, I really got the hang of it.I own a garage and am a mechanic/welder.  Welding seems to pay better with a LOT less hassle.  I see a career change in my future.  Right now my ranger 250 makes me 25% of my income, but I am pushing to do more welding and less wrenching.SO thanks again to everyoneDavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
