Interested in the more experienced welders thoughts on 2 machines. The Lincoln Idealarc Tig 250/250 variable voltage AC/DC welding power source versus the Miller Model 330A-1BPLA. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar how do they stack up against each other. Consider both to be fully equiped. Thank you for reading.
Reply:The Miller is more HD/commercial machine with more amps. You aren't comparing apples to apples. The Idealarc Tig 300/300 is more comparable. Both are very good machines if everything works as it should. The Idealarc Tig 250/250 isn't nearly as common. It's a good machine but not in the same league. The Miller will draw a lot more amps input power.
