What is AG? or GA??I applied to be a welders helper but Human Resources asked me if I knew this term.  nopeI fail I will have to take the class..thanks

Reply:What was the context of the question?  Ag is silver and Ga gallium, if they are refering to the periodic table of elements.  I can easily see the silver reference to welding (or at least brazing), but gallium is mostly associated with semi conductor construction (doping), and remotely to solder compounds of the low melting point variety.cricman
