Tweco Weld Cable Connectors- 2MPC is sold as a pkg 1 male, 1 female connector on cyberweld. as seen here http://store.cyberweld.com/cabcon.htmlThan I also need 2 male connectors which they sell together but 2MPC-1 not the 2MPC as seen here http://store.cyberweld.com/twwecacompm.htmlNow according to this chart http://www.thermadyne.com/tweco/prod...5Code=&W6Code= the difference between the two is the 2MPC is a full connect and the 2MPC-1 is a male half?Can somebody clarify with me what does that exactly mean, whats the difference between the two, and why can't i find the 2MPC connectors male connectors or where i could buy them.

Reply:I just don't understand why they call one 2MPC and the other 2MPC-1 if they are essentially the same thing at least thats what i've gathered from everything? So i take it that for choice of better words that "two male halves" basically in laymen terms means one male & one male instead of one male & one female?
Reply:It looks like the 2MPC is a SET of one MALE half and one FEMALE half. The 2MPC-1 is a pack of 2 MALE halves only, no female. If you look at the 2MPC-2, that is a pack of 2 FEMALE halves only, no male.

Reply:Now I'm REALLY going to confuse you.The "2-MPC" series is for 1/0, 2/0 & 3/0 lead.The "4-MPC" series is for 3/0 & 4/0 lead.The 2-MPC & 4-MPC are interchangable. The will work with each other.The 1-MPC is for #4, #2 & #1 lead, and are NOT interchangeable with the 2-MPC OR 4-MPC.Ask me before you get a small guage whip for your stinger. Reply:Some of the connectors also have two set screws as opposed to one, dont ask me the number after i bought 3000' of lead last year with connectors on it i haven't had to go buy any of these connectors but fyi the double set screws are nice if your pullin on the leads alot.I forgot how to change this.
