it's been a long time since i did any oxyacetylene welding so i was bored and made a small tool tray for some loose drill bits and instead of mig i said what the heck i'll break out the oxyacetylene. the second porject for the day isnt welding but thought it would be nice to get free water. i hooked this barrel up to the downspout on the end of the garage where i do my welding. all i need to do is hook a hose on it and im good Attached ImagesLast edited by hytekredneck; 05-16-2009 at 01:22 AM.Reason: speel It's not what you can buy, it's what you can build that matters
Reply:Good job!  On the barrel, what is the large opening at the top on the side for?
Reply:im guessing overflow and also an air vent to allow the water to pour more freely
Reply:nice, i built something similar to hold all my loose sockets, i never finished the top though, i just put another piece of sheet and bungie-cord it to the boxI break things for a living...
