Reply:hey strube i didnt have to heat any shoes for that project i just cut and fit them then weld it together it used to take about an hour to do now i can fit weld and wire brush the whole job in just under 1/2 hr.  they are popular most people who see one of mine want it and not the generic ones done with new shoes that are "fast rusted"  mine have real wear and tear marks and sometimes nail heads still in them ect.    spy guy that cow is made of roller chain off of manure spreaders round balers etc it weighs in at around 50lbs or sowww.burdettenetworks.com
