Probably the most enjoyable thing for me with welding is being able to almost always say "So what! Let's just make it work". My brother picked up for a cheap price, a NIB grass catcher for his Sears riding mower. Only problem was when we tried to install it we discovered it's for a different model mower. Good news was the attachment to the mowing deck fit fine, the bad news was the attachment to the mower frame was completely different. The fix was to upright the bracket and offset it 8 inches to the right. I estimate 2 hours of effort, a piece of 3/8", a piece of 1/4" and 4 bolts with the heads rounded off and we had us an adapter bracket to bolt onto the frame of the tractor.I tried out the "close up" function for the first time on the camera so please critique..... my photography skills Welds were done with a MM180 set at 8 (3/16 range) wire speed 60 and .035 wire.
