Have two cutting attachments one is a Smith SC209 YK the other is a Smith SC209 ADF. SC209 ADF will not allow me to insert a new SC12-4 and the Other Smith will not allow me to remove the SC12-1 Tip. What am I doing wrong???? Will drill it out.
Reply:Genuine Smith tips in both cases?I'd be vise-gripping and rotating it gradually back and forth rather than drilling because the parts remaining in the head may become even worse to remove.
