I'm looking into buying a TIG/Stick welder, mainly to build steel and possibly aluminum bike frames, but also for general welding purposes. I won't be welding anything thicker than .5" so I don't need too high an amperage. Need AC/DC, possibly inverter type (ideally) so I can plug it into my house without flipping the breaker. I'd like any suggestions that you have about a good welding machine. My budget is around $2000-$2500 which limits me to "Lincoln - Invertec V205-T AC/DC TIG Pkg" for $3300, "Lincoln Precision TIG 225 Ready-Pak w/Cart" for $2000, or I've heard very good things about the "ThermalArc Arcmaster 185 ACDC TIG/Stick Pkg" for about $2000. Miller seems to be much more expensive than other brands for similar features. Thanks all...-Drew
