what kind of ventilation equipment is needed?

I am designing a ventilation system for a welding shop.What kind of equipment do I need for a  good ventilation.
Reply:Big Fans Attic fans may be just the thing if you can find them, older houses would be a good place to look if the home owner doesn't want it anymore. Don't know if they can be purchased new any more.
