I've been playing around with my torch and plasma cutter again... thought I'd share this with you. It's a sign that will be mounted on two telephone poles across a driveway on the way in to a hunt camp. The figure adorning the top of it is "Grizmo," the club mascot of sorts. The sign was constructed from old rusty 8" channel, 3/16, and 1/4" plate. It's 14 feet end to end.Probably the most time consuming task was just knocking all the rust and dirt off of everything with a wire cup. There's not much to it really, but it did bow on me a little from the cutting. A little heat along the back edges and it straightened right out though. Reply:Great job on the plasma cutting. (Nice safety gear, too ..... )One minor thing - Grizmo's cigar isn't lit ..... no smoke. Guess now ya gots to cut out a swirl of smoke and weld it to the end of the cigar .....
Reply:Nice work. I wondered where the art design for the center piece came from..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
