Reply:These things are great. I built one over the last few months and got it running about 2 months ago. I didn't really follow plans but rather just kind of worked around the stuff i had collected. For THC and complete electronic kits visit tom at CandCNC.Com. He has some good stuff and its affordable too.Quick Pic of my tableA 4.3 motor mount it cut. Here was my first cut with it. No tuning or adjustments at that point but it still functioned You will love it when that puppy is done.
Reply:Im in the process of designing my second one, although its a cnc router, not a plasma. Only thing I think you may have issues with is your linear motion bearings. We kinda went the same way and with gunk building up on the rails it kinda throws stuff off.Nice job though!
Reply:i need something like this so bad i also need space but i need this tool anybody else make one?www.burdettenetworks.com

Reply:Accuracy depends a lot on the type of components used, and the drive system. You can use ball screws, acme rods, or plain ol' threaded rod. Ball screws would give you the best output, but you can spend big $$$$$$$.Download MACH3 and you can see what you can mess around with, i think you can get a demo.Check out www.cnczone.com for info on CNC everything.
