Source for welding practice coupons

I looked in vein for a post someone put on here awhile back that gave a source to buy beveled pipe coupons for which to practice 6g etc

Reply:Perfect use for a mini lathe if you have one.  Ultra consisten bevels are easy once set up on the lathe.   Most of the smaller mini's will go to about 7 inch diameter by 10, 12, or 14 inch max length.  I also use my mini mill to do the  surface prep on heavily corroded blank material before I try to layout anything.  Saves a lot of frustration.  Good luck and keep practicing while you are resolving this problem, brcause ther is no substitute for hood time and experienceI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?  Trade?
Reply:with all the money you would spend you could set up a system to do your own pipe coupons which would be better if you had to do your own in the field. there are instructions out there on how to make your own.
