Here is a welcome sign I just finished. Materials are 1/4" round and square, 1/8" round for the scrolls and the butterflies are stampings I bought online. Some parts of the photos look crooked, but it's the florescent lights flickering and throwing shadows because they were cold starting up Attached ImagesLast edited by Vipernut; 10-05-2009 at 09:40 PM.Fire!, Fire! Reply:I think it looks really good. I mean good! It's probably not the lights. The new digital cameras have pretty crappy lenses. There's a lot of distortion. It makes everything look bowed. Very small lenses, ground to take a wide angle shot. It's like a fisheye lense."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Looks great. I like to make different signs and such as well. I hope to get a garage of my own soon so I can start doing small projects like this and not at work. lol It also helps that there is a kings metal right down the street from my house, so I can get materials pretty quick.
Reply:I like it. It's nice and well done. The flutterbyes are cool. But I stared at it for a while. What is the apostrophe in there for? Stammler plural would be Stammlers. Right?Or Stammler's House would be posessive. Right?I am not nitpicking. I am actually not sure which is right. I am confused. I don't even know if my plural/posessive idea is even accurate.Lincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain
Reply:Possession is correct. The first ones I did made me rethink the whole apostrophe thing. One of them I did without the apostrophe and their name looked screwed up. It should have read BARBU'S and without the apostrophe it looked like BARBUS - as in the bus that picks you up and takes you to the bar Fire!, Fire!
