My wife loves to go to those japanese steak houses and eat that expensive food. I found this old cook top that is about 1/2" thick, 3/4" around the edges and decided it would make a good griddle for the back porch. Im going to put a stainless top around it, or some ceramic tile. Gotta find an old gas grill and rob the burners off of it, Also going to have some old barn tin around the frame to hide the LP Tank. The frame is made out of 1/8" angle iron. Simple project, but i figured i have looked long enough and it was time to post up. Shop photos to come later!Gonna make for some good fried Eggs!

Reply:JD, that is a COOL design. All you need now is some big shiny spatullas and learn some flashy knife techniques. But with enough butter, you can make anything taste good with that grill.That's actually a Teppan grill (Te-ppan literally means metal-plate). I've included a pic of hibachi grill. Attached Images
