Reply:Good Evening Mr. David R. 3/32 Rod - 1/4" Flatstock - 1/16" Gap. - No Bevel - Just Wirebrushed
Reply:55-60 amps seems cold for that rod. try 90ish and see what happens
Reply:55-60a is too cold. But that does not look cold enough to be 55-60a. That may be a little cold, but if you were at 55-60a, I don't think it would have burned in as much as it did. 90-95a is where I would start."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:Amps sounds low, but weld looks about right. Maybe your knob is off. I run dry Lincoln 3/32 at 85 amps in all position. It works for me. Clean one side of that cupon down to the bare metal and run another bead. Run one on the other side with out cleaning. I don't care how many amps, just make both sides the same.David Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Thanks For The Comments - Coarse Adj = 40-100 Fine Control 3.8 - Best I Could Figure Out This Should Come Out To About 55-60 Amps
Reply:What model is the welder?
