A friend is moving out to college. he was selling some stuff and giving away junk too. he left me with a 2 ton chain hoist. the hoist didn't turn due to being filled with nuts and other crap from mice nests. Filled it with greese after i cleaned all the gears of with wd40Oh, denrep, I didn't have any $1s for comparison, so I used a ten.

Reply:I jammed grease into every notch. right now I can give the main wheel a spin and will keep spinning for about 2 more seconds. the main problem I'm working on is mounting it. as the garage roof isn't strong enough. I might be able to make some type of portable crane, kinda like a engine hoist.
