we need all the room in the garage that we can get! this saw is awesome ! cant belive how good it cuts!
Reply:can we see the welds?  very cool design, you just gave me an idea.
Reply:Same saw we have at work, beats an abrasive saw hands down. As long as you watch for vibration and keep the material being cut tight the blade will last you forever. Only problem we've had is the screw for the vice stripped which was easily fixed with a piece of metric threaded rod and the plastic holder for the allen wrench broke, both minor problems. One word of advice, if you're cutting anything other than square watch the blade doesn't pull the steel thru the vice. Put a small piece of wood or thin rubber in the jaws for a good grip.BTW, nice table design....Mike
Reply:What sort of saw is it?  Or perhaps a better question; what sort of blade is it?
Reply:Looks like an Evolution Rage 2 saw with a carbide tipped blade.  Could be wrong...I often am...Ok, so I was wrong...Its a Jancy Slugger.Last edited by bartels_metal_works; 11-19-2009 at 08:17 AM.Reason: I was wrong, Like I said...Miller Millermatic 212... and that's about it... for now...

Reply:wow that must be over $500 in raw material.  super heavy duty stuff there.  (i mean the cut stuff, not just the frame)
Reply:That is a good idea for a toolbox. Will you be adding doors to the sides? I would like to see a shot of the one with the welder on it.
Reply:i will get some pics of the welds today. yes its a sluger saw cant belive the price of steel its crazy !!!!!!we will be doing somthing on the sides just dont know yet!
Reply:How much was the saw? Or can a regular chop saw run this blade? Where can I purchase the blade? Sorry for the questions, but If i can eliminate the dust from using friction blades my life would be much easier
