Chop saw quick adjust attachment

Just wondering if anyone has built an attachment for their chop saw for quick, accurate adjustments.  My saw isn't very accurate when I move the fence (accurate in degrees).  I was thinking about tweaking it, but am looking for some ideas.The Lord has declared, "This is my work and my glory--to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man"  Moses 1:39Link: My name is John, and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.-- ColdCreekWorks.com --
Reply:No but making a 45 attachment is on my list of things to build for my band saw. Same premise. It sucks to adjust these things.
Reply:I just use a decent speed square to set mine to 90 and 45 deg. Close enough for what I need to cut with a chop saw. If I need goofy angles, usually I'll simply cut a 2x8 or 2x10 with my normal power miter saw and use that to set the angle, say 35 deg or what ever. If I'm plus or minus 3 or 4 deg I'm about as close as I'm going to get with an abrasive saw anyways. I do the same thing with the stationary band saw. I can usually get within less than a degree that way on small stock less than say 3". Wider material, I can get closer with a bit of tweaking..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I always meant to drill a hole in the movable part of the clamp and match it with the common angles on the base of the saw, probably would have to add a bit of thicker metal under the base and set it up for 45 deg and whatever else is common for you.

Reply:I gotta square mine up and I may just add the pin deal if I get all liquored up ond pi$$ed off
