Needed one of these for my bead blaster so I could easily rotate parts as they are beaded. Made it stout enough so that it could also be used for other functions. Here is the process:Base bored for press fit plug about two inches in diameter, the plug is then welded in place and bored for a nice press fit on the bearings.

Reply:I have made a similar powered table for my tig welding table and a hand operated one that fit in a vise for my mig welding and now I quess I'll have to make one for my blast cabinet. Nice design, looks like the bearings are well protected from the dust. You do nice work.
Reply:Nice. Wish I knew how to run a lathe so I could make one. I could slap something together out of scrap, but it wouldn't be any where near as nice. Good job! |
