Reply:I'd have a hard time paying more than $1200-$1500 for a 10-yr old machine of this type regardless of hours or condition.  Who knows what may have deteriorated just because of time and non-use?  No warranty either.

Reply:NT...."Not a Trailblazer?"  Seriously though, I had a 250NT on a service truck back in '03 when I did mechanical work.  It was a fine welder for the jobs I did with it.  The NT doesn't mean anything special, at least not as measured against any of today's machines.  Maybe that's when the generator wattage was increased from 8000 to 10,000?  I dunno.  To me a Bobcat of that age is a Bobcat, is a Bobcat...
Reply:I believe the "NT" meant "New Technology".I would probably be happy even giving $2000.00. My second welder was a Bobcat 225. It sat in storage for a few years. It had 500&some hours. The fuel pump was physically broken, but when I replaced it and gave it a tune up I used it for years after that. The only other problem was the fuel pick-up tube. It became dry rotted and needed replacing. I would look at it as a practically new machine that wasn't abused. And there's not alot to go wrong with them. So for the few things that might need replacing, I would gladly pay the $2000.00.
