Plasma cutter question

I just bought my first plasma cutter last week and was wondering how I know when it is time to replace the nozzle and the electrode? Which one will wear out first? What do I look for? The manual doesn't cover any of this.

Reply:You don't mention the brand or model....but if you email me directly I will forward you a .pdf copy of Hypertherm's plasma torch machine side reference guide which provides tips on inspecting consumable parts and reading cut quality to determine issues and make improvements. Reply:You will know when to replace the tip and inner electrode when the tip nozzle enlarges greatly and when you remove the tip the electrode has been eaten away causing severe pitting to itseld,like a lage hile in the electrode.
