thanks a lot for the advice on vertical welds, today i went in and by 11am i was really in the zone. They are not perfect yet, but i got a compliment from the instructor about my how my beads were looking good. which for him im sure is a lot. im on to 3/8 vertical now, hopefully i'll be on over head late tomorrow or wensday.
