I have a three phase welder, a Miller XMT 456, and I was wondering if anyone has used a phase converter to run one on single phase. What setup did you use?I am also wondering what happens if you run the machine directly on single phase? I notice that the drive electronics are all powered by single phase, so I am guessing that the welder might work but with reduced power. I hate to just experiment!
