Lincoln Precision TIG 185... good for what I want to do?

Hi,I have a line on a Lincoln Precision TIG 185. Asking price 1100.00.I am building a Lotus 7 knockoff (a 'Locost') so I will be doing 14 and 16 gauge cromoly tube as well as thin aluminum sheet metal for the bodywork.I have a 50 amp 240V circuit in my garage now.Good machine? Good price? Will it do what I want?Thanks.An odd fellow, but nice enough. I build "interesting" things.

Reply:I have a 3 phase one and love it.1/4" ally will max it out , not sure of the prices in US but Ive had mine since new for about 4 years and its never skipped a beat.A good guess is better than a bad measurement
