I bought a springer kit for my bike and need to cope the pipe.A few years ago I ordered a tubing notcher for a fence job that never happened.Well it works very wellThis is just some scrap pipe I'm practicing on.Here's what I'm building
Reply:i've used a drill press and others...........but the hand held air drill seems to work the best. my drill is a 1/2 " 500 rpm max , so i think it runs a little slower turned down to like 80psi and worked very well , it acts like it loves doing it so you almost have to pull back on it a little. thermal arc 252i - millermatic 350P - miller XMT, cp300ts, 30a 22a feeders, buttload of other millers, handfull of lincolns, couple of esabs - Hypertherm 1250 G3

Those are my round welds exactly, (nothing like a good, round weld). .........................I figure it will take a few dozen jungle gym's before I can make 'em presentable.City of L.A. Reply:Got the boss's welded on,maxed out my 180....e and 4.5 wire speed(.o35)Then used a flap wheel to clean it up. |
