hey! i'm new to this forum but have been looking around here for a while, just thought i would post a couple of the carts I recently built. Attached Images
Reply:a few more pics. now go ahead and tear them apart!!! Attached Images
Reply:fully functional, cool design, nice big tires for easy mobility inside or out! nice job Bob
Reply:Both carts are very well thought out and look great and I know pneumatic tires roll great on stone or dirt, but my problem with them is getting a flat. That first cart looks a bit top heavy and could be a problem if a tire went down. I prefer hard rubber tires. Just my two cents. Great job.
Reply:Yeah....good stout carts with big knobby tires!I'm always moving around on rough ground so those big wheels catch my eye. And I like a cart that makes you look up the load range of the casters before you buy them...and that's before you add the weight of the welder and tools.AlA man is judged by what's between his legs...always ride a good horseMiller DialArc HFLincoln Classic 300DThermal Arc 181iPowermax 45Scotchman Ironworker(2) BridgeportsOkomota Surface GrinderAutoCAD 2010
Reply:Nice carts ... I like the offraod tires - those definitely are a must.
Reply:Thanks for all of the positive replies. I'm not quite done with them, after I loaded them down I think i'm going to add a third wheel to the back of the first cart to help out with the weight of the tanks. These tires are rated at 300 lbs apeice and since there harbor freight tires I want to be very carefull. now I'm getting ready for my next two projects, i'm going to build a set of trailer ramps and then a bow fishing deck because spring is right around the corner!!! I will definatly be posting pics as I go along.

Reply:I like your Idea of foam filled tires however i hate to raise it up another 3 inches. I was wondering what anybody's thoughts are on products such as tire slime or simillar to help prevent flats?
