Hey Denrep?Yeah Alfred?Denrep, I sure wish we had that diesel-generator running. But I don't feel like pulling the engine just to replace the starter ring-gear.I know Alfred, but we can't chance running it any more with the missing tooth, it'll just get worse; that's why we parked it. Remember?I can't believe it - one stupid starter solenoid malfunction knocked it out of service. Now it's just rotting away.Denrep, the other day when the dentist was fixing my tooth, I had an idea...You know there's a window near the starter mount, that would give accesses to the ring-gear, blah blah blah...
