Which cutter would you buy Extreme 375 or Power Max 30

I am looking at buying a pre owned miller plasma extreme 375 and a Hypertherm Power Max 30.  Both look very clean.  Are they equal in quality and performance?  They both are $900 but I might be able to get the Miller 375 for $850 but the Power Max is the delux which comes with the circle guide and glovesLast edited by hotrod123; 03-14-2012 at 02:58 PM.
Reply:I think you will find the Hypertherm PM30 to be a step ahead of the Miller ( or two )My opinion is to get the PM30.

Reply:Hypertherm for sure.  I have a PM 1000 G3 and it has never missed a lick in over 5 years.  I used it very heavily when I first got it and once I learned how to dial in the machine and the table it has been a monster.  It puts a grin on my face that takes about 2 hours to wear off once I finish for the day.. They are the best in R&D, Employees and giving back to their community.  Jim Colt is the expert when it comes to Plasme and he works for Hypertherm.  Tells me they pay attention to the wants and needs of the market they service.BobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?  Trade?

Reply:Good choice on the plasma cutter. I also have the deluxe kit, although I never use the case. Might come in handy some day. Easier to just carry the unit itself when transporting. The dual voltage definitely comes in handy.Hobart Handler 140Everlast PowerMTS 200SHypertherm Powermax30
